FOR THOSE INTERESTED ON SENDING US DEMOS AND ON OUR RELEASE POLICY

The big new at Bowindo Recordings is that from 2010 we decided to open our catalogue to artists that are not founders or members of the original Bowindo team.
So if the first 13 releases included at least one founder of Bowindo (Sciajno, Ielasi, Tricoli, Bosetti, Rinaldi, Martusciello) the next ones are opened to any artist coming from any part of the world.
The artistic direction remains to Sciajno and Tricoli who will select and plan the releases chosen among works dealing with experimental and/or electroacoustic music.
Being a non-profit and a non subsidized indipendent label, Bowindo has very limited production capabilities, therefore we defined two different types of approach for our releases:

As producers:
Full productions (all production costs covered by Bowindo) are choosen directly by Sciajno and Tricoli through a direct proposal to the artists.
So please don't consider us rude if we won't answer to your proposals to produce a release with your music: if we can do it and if we are interested we will contact you directly even if you don't send us a proposal. So our suggestion is that you don't send us a proposal but wait for us to contact you in order to offer you a production.

As Co-Producers:
In order to release works that we find interesting even if we can't afford it, we came up with 3 co-production formulas (1 - BASIC DIGITAL, 2 - DIGITAL + PROMO OPTIONALS, 3 - CD RELEASE, send an email to contact@bowindorecordings.com for details and costs). 
In this way we can check out proposals coming from artists we don't know directly in order to co-produce releases whithin the Bowindo Catalogue. That means that if you accept the idea to invest some money on the release you can let us know and send us a proposal with your music on cdr (no mp3 or downloads) and an accompaning letter in which you tell us your choosen co-production formula.
